Label founder Michael Müller:
“When we brought the music from the visit at the Oscar Acadamy in the USA to Germany and wanted to start the internet
portal and events, everybody said:
You will not last longer than three months.
We recognized in our three years of existence, this style of music is not only a
niche but we also realized that Smooth Jazz Music has a future in our noisy world.”
With that unbroken optimism Mr. Müller and his companion, TV producer Matthias Börner, inspired more and more people with “their” sound.
Smooth Jazz Berlin established itself as a live portal for young musicians with
weekly events in the Mittelbar in the Axel-Springer-Passage. “The next step:
To open the record market to the young generation!” said Müller. “We aim at
small editions and we support the promotion of our talent by compilation sales. |
